Shanti Hubbard

I founded Chan Hubbard PLLC because I wanted to build a practice rooted in relationships — one that offers accessible, strategic legal support to the kinds of businesses I believe in. I’m proud to serve clients from my own community, and I’m deeply invested in helping mission-driven founders and creatives protect what they’re building, navigate legal challenges with confidence, and grow on their own terms.

I began my legal career as a public defender with the Bronx Defenders, where I learned to think quickly, advocate fiercely, and solve complex problems under pressure. That foundation shaped my approach as a lawyer: responsive, strategic, and grounded in real-world impact. I went on to found Chan Hubbard PLLC with the goal of translating my passion for client advocacy into legal support for everyday people launching and growing their own businesses. As my practice grew, I joined Law by Levin, a boutique firm focused on startups and venture financing, where I deepened my experience in intellectual property, commercial transactions, and corporate finance.

Ultimately, I realized that independence and entrepreneurship are at the core of my professional identity — and the values I share with my clients. I'm now back to building Chan Hubbard PLLC full time, where I serve as a trusted legal partner to founders, creatives, and growing companies navigating the challenges of business, branding, and scale.
